Visual Exploration
This project was intensive. It consisted of a series of turrets and traps and general security measures for a "tower defense" style game. A large number of weapon types meant I had to work hard at a conceptual level in order to create a variety of striking colors and silhouettes so the player would easily differentiate them all.
Turret Models
All the different turrets needed to have a similar size and shape. We wanted the general look to askew towards the cartoony and have big strong shapes that differentiate each one. Each of them would have upgrade forms so the design elements also needed to be transferable and leave room for the growth and development of its foundational elements.
